Jeff Meyers - Pastor
Jeff grew up in the Crestwood and Sappington area of St. Louis, graduated from Lindbergh High School ('75) and the University of Missouri at Columbia ('79). After serving as an officer in the U.S. Army for four years, Jeff attended Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, but took three years off to teach at a Christian school in Texas. Upon graduation from Covenant Seminary ('88), he served three years as an Associate Pastor in Huntsville, Alabama, and then three years as Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas.
Since coming to Providence in 1994, Jeff has earned his Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M) and finished his Ph.D studies (ABD) in Systematic Theology at Concordia Theological Seminary.
Jeff and his wife Chris give thanks for 38 years of marriage and four children: Rebekah, Lauren, Julia, and Jeffrey Jr. Their children are all now happily married and beginning families of their own. They have two grandchildren.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys walking, competitive handgun shooting, hunting, photography, science fiction, and cooking. You can visit his blog here, as well as his Facebook page. Caleb Skogen - Youth Pastor
Caleb grew up on Lookout Mountain, GA. He attended Mercer University in Macon, GA on a basketball scholarship where he met his wife, Catie. They were married in 2008, whereupon Caleb finished his undergraduate degree and graduated from Lee University in 2010.
After college, Caleb and Catie moved to North Carolina where Caleb worked for Classical Conversations, a home school curriculum company. In 2013, Caleb served as the harmonics tutor, choir director, leader of the service internship, and head of administration for Mandala Fellowship in 2013. He is currently attending Covenant Theological Seminary where he has completed his M.A. in Worship and Music and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity (M.Div.). Caleb also works part-time for Classical Conversation producing curriculum and managing the company's podcast channel among other responsibilities.
Caleb and Catie have two daughters, Lindsey (6) and Penelope (3). Together, they enjoy visiting the St. Louis Zoo, the many St. Louis-area parks, and all the wonderful free family attractions in St. Louis.
