Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School(VBS) is an important part of our yearly ministry to our own children at PRPC, as well as to the children in our community. We are committed to providing all children with a fun, scripture-based experience, in which they are able to strengthen and cultivate friendships with others in the faith. Our hope is that your child makes new friends, hears of God's love for us through the scriptures, and has a blast participating in VBS!

about our VBS:
PRPC Vacation Bible School serves children ages 3 through 7th grade.
Our VBS is held one week (Monday through Friday) in July, from 9 am to noon.
PRPC Vacation Bible School is free to attend, but advance registration is required. Registration opens May 1st.
Our curriculum is designed specifically for kids of all ages! All classes memorize a daily Bible verse (or portions of it) and learn about a Bible story. However, each group is presented with material appropriate to their age by our skilled teachers.
Each day at VBS begins with a morning assembly in the sanctuary. All classes participate in singing, a mini-lesson on the day's Bible verse and story, and an update on the week's mission focus.
Following our opening assembly, each age group breaks off to participate in their scheduled activities that include storytelling, crafts, scripture memory games, recreation, and snack time. All activities are designed to provide opportunities for children to make friends, learn about the scripture, and have fun!
Each day ends with a closing assembly in the sanctuary. All classes gather to sing fun songs, watch a silly skit, and learn about the day's Bible lesson through an object lesson, usually presented by one of PRPC's pastors.
At the end of the week (Friday evening), we celebrate with a Closing Program during which we sing songs, hear a recap of the week, and watch video highlights. Afterwards, the whole family is invited to an ice cream social!
